What’s new
In December 2012 The Dowans Hotel was bought by the Murray family; it was love at first sight. Although the hotel enjoys a loyal clientele, with many visitors returning year after year, it was clear that the hotel was in need of major renovation. We have big plans for The Dowans and work has already begun. We will be continually upgrading the rooms and facilities over the course of the year while minimising disruption to our guests.
During this time we will remain open as usual and we very much look forward to welcoming you to our new home.
