No packed itinerary. No black tie. No crowded dance floor. Instead, think roaring fires, winter walks, wonderful food, a few good drams and nowhere you particularly need to be.
Our two-night Hogmanay escape is for those who want to make an occasion of New Year without all the fuss. Arrive on either the 30th or 31st December, settle in and spend your time exactly as you please.
Wrap up and head out for a walk along the Spey or to Linn Falls with a flask of something warming. Find a cosy corner with a board game and a boozy hot chocolate. Discover a few new drams in The Still. Or simply put your feet up, order a drink and enjoy doing very little at all.
Your Hogmanay Stay
Alongside two nights' accommodation, your package includes £40 per person dining credit to enjoy in Restaurant 57 on your non-Hogmanay evening.
If you arrive on the 30th, settle in and enjoy dinner with us that evening. Arriving on the 31st? Your dining credit will be waiting for you for our relaxed New Year's Day service.
You'll also have a warming winter drink for each guest during your stay. Choose a hot toddy, boozy hot chocolate or an alcohol-free alternative and enjoy it in the comfort of the hotel, or borrow one of our flasks and take it with you while exploring Speyside.
Hogmanay Night
On the 31st, dress up if you fancy it and join us in Restaurant 57 for our special Four Course Hogmanay Gala Dinner.
There's no black tie dress code and no need for formality. This is simply an evening of great food, good wine and good company as we make our way towards midnight.
After dinner, settle into the bars before putting your knowledge to the test in our annual Dowans Hogmanay Quiz, beginning around 10 pm.
Then, as midnight approaches, we'll gather together to welcome 2027. Choose a dram or glass of bubbles at the bells, with a traditional piper helping us bring in the New Year in true Scottish style.
A Lazy New Year's Day
We think the morning after Hogmanay should start slowly.
There is no early breakfast alarm on the 1st. Instead, join us for a leisurely New Year's Day Brunch from 9am until 11am.
Guests heading home on the 1st can then enjoy a relaxed 12pm checkout.
For those staying with us, Restaurant 57 will be open from 1pm until 8pm for relaxed all day dining, with comforting New Year favourites and Scottish staples.
Take a walk. Play another game. Have a dram. Eat something comforting. Have an afternoon nap.
New Year's Day is entirely yours.
Make a Little More of It
If two nights doesn't feel quite long enough, stay a little longer.
Guests booking our Hogmanay package can add a third night at a special rate from just £125 per room, including breakfast the following morning.
You can also add a few extras to make your escape your own.
Arrive early and begin your stay with our Traditional Afternoon Tea at £27.50 per person, or opt for our lighter Halfternoon Tea at £15 per person.
Join us in The Still for a specially created Speyside Hogmanay Whisky Tasting at £35 per person, featuring three hand-selected Speyside drams.
We can also arrange a dozen homemade chocolates for £18 and a chilled bottle of bubbles of your choice to be waiting in your bedroom when you arrive.
And for those who still have room after the Gala Dinner, add a cheeseboard to share for £20.

Cancellation Policy.
At the time of booking, a 20% non-refundable payment will be processed to your card details provided. The final payment will be processed no later than two weeks in advance of your arrival. If you cancel more than two weeks in advance, only the 20% deposit will be held. If you cancel within two weeks, the full amount will be processed to your card details and will be non-refundable.
