Our hotel, built in 1888, offers sixteen individual and bespoke en-suite rooms ranging from cosy and elegant singles to eloquently styled king-size doubles. Every room has tea and coffee making facilities, a flat-screen television, free Wi-Fi and en-suite bathroom or shower stocked with complimentary toiletries. And with the Glenfiddich Terrace and manicured lawns looking out over the Spey Valley to the front, and a grand ornamental pond with fountains and stoned pathways set within the shadow of Ben Rinnes to the rear, whichever room you select the view is sure to compliment your stay.
Single (1 Person): Cragganmore, Tamdhu
Cosy, en-suite single rooms, simply furnished and provided with tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen television. Ideal for the business traveller or lone explorer looking for a quiet and comfortable place to recharge the batteries of an evening.
Bijou King (1 Person): Knockando, Dailuaine, Room 4
Enjoying all the facilities and comfort of our single rooms, but with a little added space and a king-size bed, our Bijou rooms will appeal to the business or single traveller looking for that extra bit of luxury.
Deluxe King: Mortlach, Glenfarclas
Our Deluxe Doubles offer a little more space than our Bijou doubles and also offer the option of a twin set up. Situated across the hotel in each of our wings with varying views over the Spey Valley, our pond at the back of the building and to the side, these rooms offer business people, couples and single travellers a little bit more luxury whilst also providing a quiet space for relaxation.
Baronial Club: BenRiach
If you have ever fancied sampling life above stairs at Downton Abbey, to have a taste of belonging to the Victorian or Edwardian gentry, then the Baronial Club is the room for you. Elegant and spacious, there is the recreation of the luxury of a bygone age: draped curtains, solid oak furnishings, chaise-lounge (not in all rooms!) and fragrant toiletries. The perfect setting for visitors seeking a complete escape from the humdrum of modern living (though we have left you a flat screen television, Bosche tea and coffee making machine and one or two other necessities just in case).
Boutique Club: Glenlivet, Tomintoul, Longmorn, Glenfiddich
Penthouse living amidst the old-world rural charm of Speyside. Contemporary and fresh, the Boutique Club offer all the conveniences of the modern with a few trappings of old fashioned luxury to ensure that your stay, no matter the length, is one of comfort and relaxation. The rooms are decorated in sleek minimalist style and equipped with under floor heating, heated towel rails, sensor operated lights and flat screen televisions with DVD capability. And expect to find luxury toiletries, comfy dressing gowns awaiting your pleasure.
Executive Club: Balvenie, Speyburn and Benromach
Blending an appreciation of contemporary demands and the traditional aspects of the building, our Executive Club rooms are a slice of luxury in the heartland of Speyside, Scotland’s whisky capital. Equipped with bespoke furniture, super-king sized beds, stand alone baths and walk-in shower enclosures, both rooms are the perfect space for those who enjoy the finer things in life.
Junior Suite: The Macallan
Serene. One word which perfectly encapsulates everything down to the very last detail in The Macallan; from the bespoke headboard and furnishings, specifically designed by Chelsea McLaine for the suite and made by locally based JNK Kitchens, to the exclusively upholstered Charlotte James armchairs. With a specially selected welcome dram from Macallan‘s collection, a Tassimo coffee machine and an iPod docking station, it would seem that everything had been thought of and, yet, it is only when you enter the mood-lit en-suite bathroom and find that even the viewing to soaking ratio has been considered with an HD AquaTek TV perfectly placed at the foot of the Heritage stand-alone bath, that you realise that the assumption is in fact correct. It isn’t home but it’s about as close as you’ll get and that surely is as good as perfection.
